Riding on a “I Had The Best Week Ever” type of high since releasing the much anticipated ‘Watch The Throne’ (album now available in stores) Jay-Z took South Beach by storm with plenty of Ace of Spade to go around for the masses. King Hov without his lil brother Kanye held court last night in Miami at Club LIV but not before paying homage to the leading lady in his life on Miami radio 99 Jamz during a call in to the station:

“What I’ve learned from her is similar to what I learned from Mike [Jackson] – and I know that’s blasphemy to compare the two because Mike was such an innovator – but I think she’s like the second coming,” said Jay. “You know, the hard work and dedication that she puts into her shows. It just makes you want to work harder at your own craft. She’s like a machine.”

Last night Beyonce kicked off the 1st night of her sold out ‘4’ Intimate Nights With Beyoncé concert to a standing room only audience at the Roseland Ballroom in NYC. The show was said to be very energetic wit Bey performing some of her classics like Single Ladies and old Destiny’s Child favorites like Bills, Bills, Bills as well as her entire ‘4’ album in it’s entirety.

The remaining dates also sold out will take place on August 16th, 18th, and 19th.

I tried to dig up a few video’s but it looks as though Beyoncé Giselle Knowles ain’t too pleased and is having them removed from Youtube.

Regarding Jay-Z’s comment about Bey:

I’ve always felt like she was the next person music wise who could step up and rival the celebrity of Michael Jackson. No she will never compete at his level but in time she will be right up there performance wise. Even when I look at her video’s she continues to outdo herself often channeling a hint of MiJac. Very pleased for the success of Her and Jay.
