NEW ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: RUIN FEAT MC LYTE – “READY 2 PARTY” [VIDEO]

23 Oct

I had the pleasure on yesterday to kick it with some home grown Va talent in the form of female MC Ruin. The Southside Superstar came by the Ladies Lounge and shared some insights on success and kicked knowledge on her Billboard chart success. Ruin explained she wants to make hip hop fun again (a reflection in her new video) all while staying in the lines of Hip Hop Pioneers MC Lyte and Queen Latifah.

Ruin electrified people with her Lil‘ Boosie assisted “Southside Superstar” single and keeps the energy flowing on her new joint “Ready 2 Party”.

I’ve always been a advocate of female rap.. (real female rap that is) and I appreciate the rarity of talent Ruin brings to Hip Hop and music as a whole.

We support More Than Just The Stars and we look forward to all of Ruin’s upcoming projects. Check out her featured video ‘Ready 2 Party’ below and make sure you follow her on Twitter @RuinTheMovement
