Mixtape Monday : @Mashondaloyal & DJ Fine$$e – ‘Love, Mashonda’

A lot of  people don’t know Swizz Beats 1st wifey and original cast member of VH1’s Love & Hip Hop season 1 had vocal pipes and sung on a vast majority of Ruff Ryders hits on the now defunct hip hop label. Mashonda‘s 1st album January Joy was released overseas but was never given the proper due here in the U.S because of poorly received singles ‘Blackout’ and ‘Back Of The Club’.  Anyway with all of the drama and label politics in the past Mashonda is banking on a musical comeback of sorts and is offering fans both new and old a opportunity to embrace her music once again. I thoroughly enjoyed ‘January Joy‘ as it’s one of my favorite slept-on/never released albums. 

Now Mashonda teams up with DJ Fine$$e on her 1st mixtape effort ‘Love Mashonda‘ which features both old and new tracks.

Get familiar with good talent and believe me I don’t co-sign just anyone. I met Louie Millz this past weekend and this dude is definitely official. The MDMG/DEF JAM artist is often compared to Fabolous, Mase, and Red Cafe, and in my opinion Millz holds his own and stands out to comparison..(I was sold on his freestyle alone)

Just recently he dropped the ‘Who Is Louie Millz‘ mixtape and features lead single Get You Home and my favorite Camera’s and Flashing Lights…  The 9 track set features appearances from JewlyBonz, Young Joe, B Palma and Swirv Denrio. As always do yourself a in service and go download!!!

2012 is just getting started and my mane man TIP is already rolling out new music and it’s pack full of surprises. Aside from his appearences from Young Jeezy (F**K Da City Up), 2 Chainz (Loudmouth), Meek Mill (Who What When), Pusha T (I’ll Show You) and Trey Songz (Oh Yeah)…. The Kang managed to drag mega producer and the creator of some of the best headphones on the market (I own a pair btw) Dr. Dre along for the ride on the track (Popped Off).. Sounds like a studio album huh?
