So In Case Your Wondering There Will Be No Love & Hip Hop Reunion….Sort Of [video inside]

After a second season packed full of broken glass and traces of Remy the final closure of Love and Hip Hop season 2 will be less dramatic and lowkey. The usual reunion format will be replaced by sit down interviews with each of the girls as they each speak to Mona Scott-Young (the brains) separately about their experiences on the show.

Word behind the scenes is that with Yandy pregnant and other irrelevant BS, the powers that be decided it was in grand taste the girls not interact together with the possibility of a fight breaking out especially with expecting mothers (I believe Kimbella has a bundle in the oven too)??…. on the panel.

As Love & Hip Hop draws to a end we’ve come to learn two things this season..

1: Olivia will never have a music career 

2: Kimbella is the resident punching bag.

It’s hard to believe things are coming to a close as we bid a short farewell to the ladies and groupies of season 2.

I’m not gonna spoil too much of the teaser but some of the things you can expect to see are the ongoing battles of Kimbella & Erica, Olivia’s music woes, and Chrissy and Mama Jones becoming closer , which I found to be the best part of the finale…

Despite her attempts at becoming the new Mrs. Jones, Love and Hip Hop’s Chrissy Lampkin threw her hands up and hightailed it to Miami; gathering her thoughts and mending her love torn heart back to pieces along the pavements of Ocean Drive.

Jimmy (coming down off of his high) seeing Chrissy was a woman fed up decided to shut her rat hole and throw the ring her way like a hungry rabid dog on a ham bone.

These are the tv moments that would have made Bob Hope smile…

MUSIC NEWS: FANTASIA DELIVERS BABY BOY + LOVE & HIP HOP: ATLANTA EDITION

Congrats are in order as the stork came a few weeks earlier than expected as Fantasia gave birth yesterday in a North Carolina hospital to a bouncing baby boy. Fantasia and her sperm donor Antwaun Cook welcomed baby ‘Dallas’ into the world ahead of Fanny’s December 29th due date.

It was reported back a few months ago that Fantasia was ordered to bed rest to ensure her pregnancy be safe for her and the baby. Nothing like the arrival of a brand new baby during the holidays…

In other news Fantasia is expected to start filming for the Mahalia Jackson biopic as plans were put on hold after Fantasia announced she was pregnant with child. (source)

As if Vh1 would stop at one series? If the powers that be have their way a whole new batch of hip hop vixens and their oppressors will find a new home on the network.

Via FREDDYO – “Reality television has been very successful lately with shows like “BasketBall Wives, “Love and Hip Hop”, and the Real Housewives of Atlanta”. It’s no surprise that VH1 may be adding another franchise to their list. A close source tells us that there will be a Love & Hip Hop Atlanta Edition.

Chrissy gives new meaning to standing by your man even it means firing the hired help. After plucking off Kimbella, Chrissy is setting her sights on off’ing Yandy, manager of Jim Jones. Meanwhile Somaya is still giving her rap career a boost (crickets) by teaming up with producers Midi Mafia….

Lastly my favorite Emily goes house hunting on Fabs unemployment check and finds herself in an emotional moment in a home all alone. Break out the tissues cause this one is gonna be a tear jerker *inserts sarcasm*

SNEAK PEEK: ‘LOVE AND HIP HOP’ EPISODE 2 [SEASON 2] GOING DOWN 2NITE!

So we all saw the fight that week down a week ago on ‘Love and Hip Hop’ and a lot of you had mix reactions concerning who was right and who was wrong. In my opinion Kimbella should have pulled Emily to the side and discussed it one on one but hey this is Vh1 so I’m sure this went down the way they expected it to. Chrissy is the Nene, Tami, Omarosa, Jackie of her show. She yearns to be famous and doesn’t mind getting involved in other people’s affairs.

Anyway Kimbella who felt bad about what happened sits down with Emily B for a heart to heart talk discussing the fight and all things Fabolous.
