[Promo Shotz] Check Out Monica’s Album Cover For ‘New Life’

Mo looks breathtakingly beautiful, almost as if she’s posing for the playbill of a Broadway play. Her album New Life is coming closer to fruition which means it’s pending release date is just around the corner. New Life will feature appearances from Brandy (It All Belongs To Me) , Wale (Take A Chance), and Rick Ross (Anything To Find You). The standardized version will consist of 12 tracks and 15 accompanying the deluxe edition.

Monica’s seventh studio album will roll into stores & digital on April 10th.

[New Video] Wale – ‘Ambition’ Feat Meek Mill & Rick Ross

Check out the new visuals for Ambition which is taken from Wale‘s album of the same name. The video features Meek Mill and Boss Hog Head Honcho Rick Ross.

Ambition is a sure shot favorite of mine but I could have gone without a live action presentation. I would however have preferred Miami Nights or No Days Off. Any how go check it out below.

It’s nothing like a little Crew Love to get the weekend started and Tyga who’s album Careless World: Rise of the Last King is now in stores is full steam ahead with a line-up of hip hop’s elite for the remix to his biggest hit to date: Rack City!

Rack City has become one of the lead tracks from my ‘Ratchet Music Vol 1. mixtape’ I concocted.. The song sounds nice in the ride and gave me hope to want to purchase the album. I’ve never been a real big fan of Tyga but from the snippets I’ve heard the album doesn’t sound half bad. Check out my review next week

Slight Work is definitely one of my favorite tracks from Wale‘s  ‘Ambition‘  album and the catchy beat (which gives me a Baltimore Club Music vibe) will most surely get the club goers rocking well into the night. The video premiered tonight and is directed by Chris Brown! #DMV Stand Up!!!!

A stand out favorite from Wale’s ‘Ambition’ album, Lotus Flower Bomb finally receives the video treatment as the official video drops today. The video features ANTM castaway Bre who ask’s Wale “does he want to smell her lotus flower bomb” as they explore their on screen chemistry. I’m sure the females are gonna go up for this considering Wale created this in mind for the ladies….

VIDEO: WALE AND MIGUEL PERFORM ‘LOTUS FLOWER BOMB’ ON JIMMY KIMMEL + CELEBRATES #2 ALBUM ON BILLBOARD!

1st congrats are in order for Wale who’s ‘Ambition’ album sold an impressive 162,660 copies to hold the #2 spot just under Justin Beiber’s Christmas album ‘Under The Mistletoe‘ which bows at #1. Those are fantastic numbers considering Wale’s first album ‘Attention Deficit’ did only 28,000 as 1st week sales.

Riding high off the success… Wale’s newest single “Lotus Flower Bomb” has been burning up the airwaves and with the video expected in the coming days the album is sure to sell even more. In the meantime check out the video below of him and Miguel performing “Lotus” on Jimmy Kimmel last night and be content until the official video drops….

ALBUM REVIEW: WALE – ‘AMBITION’

I’ve spoke on this in the past and I’ll say it again…. Wale may come off as cocky or conceited but the dude is nice when it comes to his skills. I think Wale’s addition to MMG and his involvement in Self Made propelled him to a new audience and reaffirmed his status among hip hop’s new school class.

Now with that out of the way Let’s take a look at Wale’s newest jewel Ambition. Will DC’s own be able to survive the Sophomore curse? How about we review the facts….

BIZZY BUZZ: WALE FEAT MIGUEL – “LOTUS FLOWER BOMB”

I was riding along on the streets of DC this past weekend during Howard University’s Homecoming when I stumbled upon ‘Lotus Flower Bomb’. Me and Wale have a love/hate relationship but this new track makes me want to be a fan again. It’s like the perfect single on those cool fall nights when the ride is extra clean and you and your shawty are cruising to dinner or a late night movie. I purchased this off of iTunes last night and I can’t stop listening…. It’s definitely a Music Monday banger.

Sorry it took me so long to post but I’m late as usual. Will you be supporting Wale‘s upcoming ‘Ambition‘ album next week? This single gives me hope.

NEW MUSIC: WALE ‘THE ELEVEN ONE ELEVEN MIXTAPE’

I had no idea Wale was even coming out with a mixtape  nor have I even listened to any of the tracks. I have a love/hate relationship with him as a person but artistically the dude is brilliant. Regardless of my personal opinions of certain celebrities when you rep my hometown #DMV I’m gonna do my damnest to show love (most of the time). Anyway I’m sure this is just a sampler until Wale drops his Maybach Music debut Ambition, In Stores!!! >>November 1 which is just in time for those stocking stuffers!
